this 
charming hostas.  Foliage is of good substance and exhibits slug-resistance.

Hosta 'Sara's Sensation'

Sport of the classic 'Frances Williams' but differs by having much wider gold margins.   Attractive foliage that is slightly cupped, heavily corrugated and measures 10 1/2" by 8 1/2".  Absolutely sensational!

'Satisfaction'


'Satisfaction' is a beautiful, large hosta with deep green leaves that are bordered by a wide, bright yellow, rippled margin. The most asked about hosta in the garden.  
A vigorous grower that reaches
28" tall to 60" wide.

This fast growing, medium-sized hosta emerges fiery-golden yellow in the spring and turn medium green by August.   Makes an excellent ground cover due to the fast growth rate  
to 3 feet wide.

In the heat of the summer there is a trace of white between
the center and the margin.  The foliage is slightly wavy which adds to its beauty.

I love the name, and is one of my favorites.  
A real stand-out in the garden with it's
contrasting green and gold, heart-shaped leaves.  Foliage is also deeply veined, 

slightly reverse-cupped and heavily rippled.

Another popular and beautiful sport
 of 'Guacamole'. This variety boasts large 10" long brilliant gold foliage with an irregular dark green margin.  Exhibits greater sun tolerance and has fragrant lavender flowers.

Hosta 'Stiletto'

Stiletto' is a great little hosta that makes a great ground cover or planted en masse along the front of the border.  This rapid grower has long, slender, rippled green leaves with a creamy white margin. 
Grows to 10" x 28" wide.

Beautiful dark green leaves that have a slender white strip on either side of the gold center.  Shows good sun tolerance and forms and impressive mound up to 4 feet across.

Hosta 'Sugar and Spice'


'Sugar and Spice' is a gold to creamy white margined sport of 'Invincible'. Forms a large mound of glossy 8" by 6" foliage. Like its parent, it has a good growth rate and produces hummingbird attracting, fragrant lavender flowers.  Grows 20" tall by 48" wide.

This large sport of 'Big Daddy' has large and corrugated, powdery blue leaves with creamy white streaks and margins. Forms a striking

Hosta 'Sum and Substance'

The most popular giant hosta that can grow over 6 feet wide.  The huge, glossy, chartreuse leaves, with maturity, will measure well over a foot long.  Foliage is corrugated, sun tolerant and slug resistant.

​Hosta 'Summer Breeze' 


A pretty hosta with attractive dark green leaves with a wide gold margin.   Tolerates sun will but shows best color in light to moderate shade.  Grows 22" tall by 48" wide.

​Hosta 'Sun Power'

'Sun Power' is a lovely vase-shaped plant with bright yellow-green leaves that are somewhat arching.  Its gold foliage is at its best when grown in some sun.   Can reach to 4 feet wide.

A large upright mound of green, corrugated 
  foliage(10" x 7") with creamy white margins. Centers emerge chartreuse and margins yellow in the spring.

Hosta 'Sweet Home Chicago'

A vigorous grower with pretty 6 inch, green, wavy, 
heart-shaped leaves with a chartreuse center.  Grows well 
with some sun but the center turns a brighter yellow.   
Forms a nice mound up to 45” wide.

An interesting deep blue-green
hosta with unruly, 
cupped and intensely corrugated thick leaves.  
Slow growth rate but can get to 45” wide.

Hosta 'Tea and Crumpets'

‘Tea and Crumpets' has been in my garden for years and has always
performed well.  It is a small hosta with dark green leaves with a thin
creamy white margin.  The foliage is cupped and very thick. 

 Grows 8” tall by 16” wide.

This cute little hosta grows into a
mound 24” wide 
of teaspoon shaped,
deeply-cupped green foliage.  Leaves measure 2 3/4" x 2 1/4".   The clump is topped with lovely, hummingbird-friendly, lavender flowers.

Hosta 'Tokudama Flavocircinalis'

Beautiful heart-shaped, puckered, blue-green leaves with an  irregular, lime-green to gold margin.  The blue-green turns green by summer and is slightly cupped and corrugated.  Grows to 17” tall by 48” wide.

Hosta 'Victory'

2015 Hosta of the Year

Eagerly awaiting this one to become mature in the garden.  Shiny green leaves with yellow margins which will pale through the season.  The very large thick leaves are held upright as they emerge and form a massive mound when mature.  A real giant at almost 3 feet tall by over 6 feet wide.

Hosta 'Vulcan'

A very impressive sport of ‘Captain Kirk’.  Pretty heart-shaped leaves with a pure white center with dark green margins with a lighter yellow coloring that jets toward the center.  Grows to 36” wide.

Hosta 'Wave Runner'

‘Wave Runner’ is a large sport of ‘Squash Casserole’ with chartreuse green foliage and a wide and heavily rippled, yellow margin.  Foliage is
slightly corrugated and measures 12” by 8”.  Medium to fast growth rate helps produce a plant nearly 5 feet wide.

Hosta 'Wheee!' PP23565

Another favorite rippled variety of mine.  This adorable little hosta has extremely wavy green leaves with creamy white margins. Leaves have a thick substance so offer great slug resistance.  Forms a showy mound 12” tall by 28” wide.

Hosta 'Whirlwind'

‘Whirlwind' has a unique growing habit, its pointy leaves are held upright, forming a wavy mound of foliage that changes
throughout the season.  The leaves have dark green, streaked margins with greenish veining in the creamy white centers in spring, turning light green, then finally dark green by late summer.  Grows 20” tall
by 40” wide.

A fantastic white-edged sport of 
     'Sum and Substance'.  This hosta has a sprawling habit and grows to 33" tall by 80" wide.  
Leaf size 16" x 12"    WOW - that's huge!

This beauty holds its blue color long in to the season.   Its huge leaves are cupped, rippled and textured and unfold slowly as they mature.  Grows to 23" tall by 38" wide.

This variety has attractive, contrasting, 10 “long, wavy blue foliage with a wide gold margin.  A vigorous grower that quickly forms into a cascading mound to 40” wide.

Hosta 'Woodland Elf'

In our opinion, one of the best mini’s introduced.  
This easy to grow variety becomes a compact mound 5” tall by 15” wide of medium green leaves with a very thin white to creamy-white margin.  The foliage is slightly wavy and cupped.

This bright gold hosta forms a large, upright mound of cupped, wavy and corrugated leaves that are 14” long by 10” wide.

Hosta 'Zebra Stripes'

Another unique variety that emerges all white in spring and develops green veins after it leafs out, than all green by
mid-summer.  Prefers a bright morning sunny spot in the garden and can grow to 12” tall by 30” wide.

Last but certainly not least.  This bright gold colored variety forms a dense mound of heavily corrugated, thick and deeply cupped foliage that is very sun tolerant.  Grows to 22” tall by 50” wide.
