1996 Hosta of the Year

A beautifully fragrant hosta with very shiny dark green leaves and yellow
margins in spring that change to pure white by the end of summer. 
Near white flowers.  Very sun tolerant and matures to 20" x 40".

I love the name, and it's one of my
favorites.  
A real stand-out in the garden
with it's contrasting green and gold, heart-shaped leaves. Foliage 
is also deeply veined, slightly reverse-cupped and heavily rippled. Grows large to 48" wide.

This rapid grower has long, slender,

The leaf tips are slightly twisted.

'Sugar and Spice'

'Sugar and Spice' is a gold to
creamy white 
margined sport of 'Invincible'.   Forms a large
mound of glossy 8" by 6" foliage. 
Like its parent it
 produces hummingbird 
attracting, fragrant lavender flowers.

A very nice large sport of

Very large 16" leaves of green and gold margins. Exhibits really good sun tolerance
and the sun will brighten up the

​ 'Tears in Heaven' has an upright habit that's unique
from other blue hosta.
